On Sunday 25th March 2007
I am running in the Reading half marathon. I am very
much a novice runner so I think this is a challenge,
and will take commitment and time to train for this
event. I am looking for other people to support me through
sponsorship. I have a target of raising £5,000
for two charities (split 50/50) very close to mine and
my family's hearts;
- the Craniofacial Unit in Oxford,
- the new Childrens' Hospital in Oxford (due to open
in Mid January 2007 that will house the craniofacial
unit).
As many of you will know, our first daughter, Lucy, had
a number of periods in hospital during her first 18 months
of life. The aim of this website is to tell Lucy's story,
for two reasons, to give those sponsoring me information
about what happened and how important the work that the
staff in the CF unit and the childrens' wards is, but
also for a bit of therapy for Nic and I!!
